Ashanti Douglas, also known as Ashanti and is born in Glen Cove New York United States on 13th October 1980. She is an American singer songwriter. Her talent was first noticed when she was a teenager. She signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. The same year, she was in Fat Joe's What's Luv? the song "What's the Love?" by Fat Joe as well as Ja Rule, entitled Always on Time are both massive hits. On the 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) was released to radio and digital outlets. The actress also appeared in the films Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. The song she sang Rock wit U was sampled by British rapper Aitch for his song Baby in March 10, 2022.
