Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a comedian and actor known for her dry sense of humor. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. On The Jeannie Tate Show the actress was the first to debut on a web-based show following her work in sketches and improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she was on Judd Apatow Funny People as in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza who is an attorney by profession, and David Plaza a financial consultant. She is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents and an Irish-English mother. Plaza was a student at the Catholic girls' school from 2002 to 2006 and then went to the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. While she was a senior in high school, she was a participant as a part of the Wilmington Drama League shows and served as president of the student body. Plaza was struck by a stroke while in her sophomore year at the college. The result was an expressive aphasia aswell as a paralysis. She has now recovered. Plaza began performing improv, sketch comedy and a variety of different forms at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater New York City in 2004. Also in New York City, she has appeared in stand-up shows on stage at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared on television as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show as well as the debut episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. Troopers was a satirical scifi show on CollegeHumor with her as the role of Princess. Plaza made her saxophone debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. In 2012, she made her saxophone debut in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. On HarmonQuest in the year 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee as a gnome. She played Aaron Burr and Cat Adams, respectively, in Drunk History. Criminal Minds, a TV series. The triumphant return of Plaza to the role she played in the 12th season of Criminal Minds.
